Despite damning international evidence about the toxic chemical, Glyphosate, local authorities around NZ are continuing to spray it on our roadsides, parks and other public spaces.
Earlier this year the International Agency for Research on Cancer (part of the World Health Organisation) stated that the chemical, "Glyphosate" probably caused cancer in humans. Several responsible countries and cities around the world then moved to ban or restrict the use of the chemical.
But in NZ nothing has yet been done and our local authorities continue to expose residents to the adverse health effects of this cancer-causing chemical. NZ should be a country where we can trust our officials to provide a safe and healthy environment for our communities.
